Ok this is it.
I'm going to live by this mantra.
It's absolutely true - it's not about money or success.
It's about how you look at life and then live it.
So every week I'm going to come up with four things that are making me happy.
The simplest things.
Anyone care to join me?
**Updated (9/1/2013) - Anyway can join this project. Please start whenever you like. I'm trying to compile a list of bloggers taking part, and when I do they will all be listed on the 52 Weeks page which you can find under the blog header. There are no strict days for posting your happy things either, it's entirely up to you. x **
1 Lovely and unexpected gifts through the post. Thanks again Lou.
2 My little yellow elephant money box. Always makes me smile.
3 Listening to the new Mumford and Sons cd Babel and realising it's just so, so good you want to weep.
4 Homemade soup - spinach and watercress. Yummy lunches beside the fire.
Top image is from here
Other four images are all taken by me.

Such an amazing idea Jen and I'm totally with you on the new Mumford album! Love it!!!x

In fact i was just thinking after my exhaust fell apart yesterday and needed replacing and a few other things going "wrong" on the second day of the year, I need to focus on all the happy things that are happening at the moment otherwise I could just let it all get on top of me and make me blue xox Beautiful blog by the way xox Penelope
A great idea!
ReplyDeleteIs that money box really old from a bank? I'm sure we had a blue and red one as kids!!
Hi Nicole! Thanks for your comment. It's actually new, but you are right, they are based on old banking money boxes. So you probably did have one. x
